PRESENT TENSE AND PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE

PRESENT TENSE

Kalimat present tense biasanya digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu peristiwa atau kejadian yang sedang terjadi saat ini dan berlangsung berulang-ulang.

Rumus present tense :

 

Catatan:

-         Pada kalimat positif s/es dipakai jika subject nya HE, SHE, IT dan kata ganti orang ketiga

-         Pada kalimat tanya untuk subject I, WE, THEY, YOU menggunakan DO, sedangkan untuk subject SHE, HE, IT dan kata ganti orang ketiga menggunakan DOES

Contoh kalimatnya :  

1. He buys some fruits in the market
2. David doesn't go to school because he was sick 
3. Do you eat noodles everyday? 
4. Citra sings a song “someone like you” in the singing contest 
5. My father reads a newspaper 
6. I don’t leave you until your mother came back 
7. Arya watches a television 
8. Carol listens to the music 
9. My mother makes a birthday cake for me 
10. He helps me to finish the homework  

 

PRESENT CONTINOUS TENSE

Kalimat present continous tense biasanya digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu peristiwa atau kejadian yang sedang terjadi atau berlangsung saat ini dan belum selesai.

Rumus present continous tense :

Contoh kalimatnya : 

1. Michel is going to campus now 
2. I am not buying that home because the price very expensive 
3. Randy and his friends are playing football now 
4. I am finishing the homework now 
5. Who is writing a letter ? 
6. I am watching a film at cinema now 
7. When are you training badminton ? 
8. Cindy is not cleaning the room 
9. She is learning english now 
10. Who is singing very nice?
